We were arrested on Saturday 9 July 2022 in the Harare CBD  when we went to conduct a prayer there.  We were singing the song entitled  “Manuwero tiri kuchema nenhamo”. There we 35 members arrested( 23 men and 12 women) as you can see in the video below. The video below is our first court appearance on Monday 11 July 2022.

Was our arrest an accident?

No it was not an accident. We knew fully well what lay ahead of us. The day we went into the CBD; we knew we were going to be arrested on the very day. God had told us everything. Remember when Agabus the prophet informed the Apostle Paul that he was going to be arrested in Jerusalem; Paul did not avoid going to Jerusalem to avoid the arrest[ Acts 21: 8-16]. In fact it, was God himself who instructed Paul to hurry up to Jerusalem , for God knew quite well that Paul’s time for the arrest was up. The  Holy Spirit had told Paul in advance that imprisonment waited for him in Jerusalem[Acts 20: 22-23]; but Paul did not consider his life to be more valuable than finishing the ministry given to him by God to testify to the Gentiles[Acts 20:24]. When the elders at Caesarea tried to stop Paul from going to Jerusalem[ Acts 21:12]; Paul replied that he was prepared not only to be imprisoned in Jerusalem; but also to be killed for the name of Christ[Acts 21:13-14]. Similarly when we went into town God had told us in no uncertain terms that jail was awaiting us.

Are we afraid of being arrested again?

Certainly not! Apostles Peter and Paul in the Bible were arrested more than once!

Does ZTP accommodate everyone?

Yes! President Kunyenzura will be a leader of all Zimbabweans. His task will simply be steering the ship in the direction that would be good for all Zimbabweans; as directed by God. Every human being is God’s creation.
